Mikaela Nyman writes fiction, non-fiction and poetry in English and Swedish. Her first poetry collection in Swedish was shortlisted for the Nordic Council Literature Prize 2020. Recent poems have appeared in The Spinoff Friday poem, the climate change anthology No Other Place to Stand (Auckland University Press, 2022) and Madness, an anthology of world poetry (RedPanda Books, 2022). She’s a podcaster and host for the Sugar Loafing Arts Cast on Access Radio Taranaki.
