Poppies and Other Frivolities ~ poetry by KJ Hannah Greenberg

Rotation around an axis brings out the best in scalawags since
Justice’s reach can’t otherwise touch janky persons or their kin.

Accordingly, when sizing garapa for doghouses, cabin interiors,
Also luxurious kitchen floors, it’s best to disregard frivolities like
Pyrographically-inscribed poppies, puppies, wildebeest designs.

In homes or industrial uses, planks mean “structure,” “durability,”
“Low maintenance.” Inconsequentialities of art, standpoints, care,
Find no harbor in strict form, moreover the bare bones of function.
Beauty’s place among essentials gets passed to needier attributes.

Consider that paint can cover most mistakes, money buys friends,
Yippy dogs stay beloved, while smelly hounds are loyal bar none.
See, wee packages of self-absorbed fur, feet won’t ever be entirely
Reliable when running on regoliths, otherwise prancing in forests.
Restricted life facets ebb wherever sequestered Fresnel lens focus.
